Schedule a Free Consultation
I offer a 20-minute phone consultation at no cost to you. We can explore what you are looking for in therapy, I will discuss my background and approach, and we'll decide if it feels right to move forward together. This is a good time to ask any questions, discuss therapy goals, and get a general feeling for how we work together.
Schedule NowGood to Know
I reserve your session time just for you, and I don't always have an open slot to fill, so I ask that you do your best to keep your scheduled time. I know emergencies happen, so every client gets one free cancellation each calendar year. Please use it for those moments. Beyond this exception, a missed appointment or one canceled with less than 24 hours' notice is billed at the full session fee.
I do not take any form of insurance but can offer superbills to assist you in getting reimbursed. I have a limited number of sliding-scale openings in my practice. If fee is a barrier, let's talk about it.
The connection between you and your therapist is what makes therapy work, so it's important that it feels right. If it doesn't feel right with me, if our schedules don't match up, or if the fee gets in the way, I'll help you find someone who's a good fit. Reach out.
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
- Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
